Are you a non-profit in need of a creative new logo or colorful brochure? Look no further than the Visual Communication Department’s 12-hour Design-A-Thon from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. in ADM 202. Students will complete various graphic design projects such as posters, logos, and brochures from requests submitted by local non-profits. Deadline for non-profits to submit work is April 10. Recycle electronics at LSC-Kingwood from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Items that can be recycled are computers, computer parts and monitors, printers/scanners, keyboards, mice, and speakers, televisions (tube and flat panel), phones and cell phones, radios, fax machines, microwaves, and other related electrical devices. The collection will take place at the circular drive in front of the college’s Performing Arts Center located on Royston Road.
