Forming strong partnerships that stretch from preschool to grade 16 (P-16) enables Lone Star College to promote excellence in education and cultivate improved student success.

Articulation & Transfer Services

Articulation & Transfer Services agreements exist between Lone Star College System (LSCS) and various universities, independent school districts, private secondary schools, community education courses and other training and certification entities. The agreements allow students to earn college credit for competencies outside of the traditional community college classroom that they may then transfer to a college or university.

College Readiness

The office of College Readiness and P-16 Initiatives is working to increase the participation and success of all Texans in college. With our public school, higher education, and community partners, we are focused on reaching out to families in the Lone Star College service area about the importance of going to college and what it takes to be successful in college and beyond.
