LSC-CyFair Nursing Department

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program and the Vocational Nursing program are taught at
Lone Star College-CyFair’s Barker Cypress campus, 9191 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, Texas.

Accreditation

The Lone Star College-CyFair Associate Degree Nursing Program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The program received its initial accreditation in 2005 and continuing accreditation for 8 years was granted in October, 2010.

CPR Certification

All students entering the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) or Vocational Nursing program must have a current CPR card.

Only cards from the American Heart Association : BLS for Health Care Providers are accepted.

Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening

Final acceptance into the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program or the Vocational Nursing program is contingent upon a satisfactory background check & drug screening (as required by clinical facilities), which will be completed by an approved agency at the student’s expense.
