Lone Star College to host networking opportunities with employers for students, community

Lone Star College will be hosting a Professional Careers and Administrative Services Career Fair. This event is free of charge, open to the public and takes place at LSC-CyFair Nov. 5, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. 

“Lone Star College students and anyone who is looking for work, or for a better opportunity will be able to meet directly with companies who are hiring,” said Linda Head, LSC associate vice chancellor of workforce education and corporate partnerships. “It is a great way for job seekers to hone their job interview skills in a friendly environment.” 

All U.S. military veteran candidates will be offered early VIP admission from 3-3:30 p.m. to meet and network with employers and veteran organizations.

The career fair allows students and community job seekers the chance to connect with potential employers. More than 20 employers will be on hand to discuss employment opportunities within their organizations, benefits, job requirements, skills being sought, prerequisites and more.
