Registration Wrapping up for the Fall Semester at LSC-Montgomery

Fall is right around the corner, and registration is wrapping up for the 2014 fall semester at Lone Star College-Montgomery and Lone Star College-Conroe Center.

Due to the college’s growing enrollment, many classes are in high demand and are filling quickly. Prospective students who have not yet enrolled have until Saturday, August 23, to do so.

On the last day of fall registration LSC-Montgomery will provide free Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips and drinks to prospective students who register. Registration will take place from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Student Services Center (Building C) on the LSC-Montgomery campus, and in the lobby area of LSC-Conroe Center.

"This is our peak time for fall registration," said Dr. Austin Lane, president of LSC-Montgomery. "But we still have course availability. The earlier students can come in to get registered, the better. We want students to have a good time as they go through the registration process. Everyone appreciates free food."

The 2014-2015 academic year features new course offerings in live entertainment technology, which has added a video component, automotive technology, and other programs. Classes begin Monday, August 25.

Current and recently-enrolled students can also register online at LoneStar.edu/registration or at any Lone Star College location. New students can apply for admission online, or in-person. A complete listing of upcoming classes is available at LoneStar.edu/class-search. Classes are offered days, evenings, or weekends at LSC-Montgomery and LSC-Conroe Center, as well as in online and hybrid formats.
