Looking for a fun and educational activity for your child this summer? Why not enroll them in Discovery College at Lone Star College!
Through Discovery College, children have a unique opportunity to develop skills and learn new ones in a welcoming environment.
Registration for Lone Star College’s popular Discovery College summer camp is taking place now. Discovery College runs from Monday, June 10 through Thursday, Aug. 8.
Courses are taught by knowledgeable instructors and are offered for children ages 6 – 17. Cost of tuition is $89 per week and up.
Discovery College summer camp, held at LSC-CyFair, LSC- Kingwood, LSC-Montgomery, LSC-Tomball and LSC-University Park, offer an assortment of entertaining and instructive programs that gives children a unique opportunity to be introduced to the college experience.
Programs offered include Around the World in Art, 101 Amazing Science Facts, Game Design, Building Simple Apps for Mobile Devices, Cake Boss, School of Rock and much more.
“Discovery College opens doors for kids to explore new interests in a stress-free environment,” said Sharon Jones, director of continuing education. “It’s also a wonderful opportunity for them to meet new friends who have similar interests.”
