LSC-Tomball seeks local recipes for its 25th anniversary cookbook

As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, Lone Star College-Tomball is asking the greater Tomball area community for recipes to be featured in its upcoming cookbook, “The Best of Tomball: LSC-Tomball 25th Anniversary Cookbook.”

More than just a cookbook, “The Best of Tomball” is a celebration of the food, people and traditions of the greater Tomball area.  Recipes for everything from appetizers to desserts are needed, as well as any personal memories or Tomball history associated with them.

“In the tradition of ‘you are what you eat,’ a greater Tomball area cookbook seemed like a perfect way to commemorate the college’s 25th anniversary and celebrate the people who helped make it the community asset it is today,” said Vivian Rodgers, LSC-Tomball extended learning center program coordinator and cookbook co-coordinator.

Recipes can be submitted on the LSC-Tomball 25th Anniversary Web page or in drop boxes located on the first and second floors of the LSC-Tomball Community Library  (30555 Tomball Parkway, off State Highway 249 and Zion Road).
