LSC-Tomball Honors Program Hosts Family Carnival on September 28

The Lone Star College-Tomball Honors Program is hosting a family carnival on Saturday, September 28 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on LSC-Tomball’s campus.

The event is a fundraiser for the program and will have a wide variety of activities including face painting, an inflatable water slide, fishing for a prize, ring toss, football throw, temporary tattoos and much more.  A wristband to participate in the activities is $5 per person. There will also be a series of contests including karaoke, biggest bubble, guess how many in the jar, super-twister, water balloon dodge ball, and a wheelbarrow race. Food will be for sale, and there will be a free picnic-style family movie that will be shown after sunset.

“The carnival is a fundraiser, but it also provides an opportunity for our program members to gain experience planning and running and event,” said Ashley Starbuck, LSC-Tomball student and vice president of the honors program. “We are really looking forward to welcoming the community and having some fun!” Families are encouraged to bring water appropriate clothing.
