Summer is a time for relaxing by the pool and spending time with friends. But it’s also the time for those wanting to attend college in the fall to apply and enroll in their classes. Lone Star College-Tomball is making this process easier and more summer-friendly with concentrated “New Timberwolf Enrollment Days” (July 16-18). The days are an innovative, student-friendly program that offers first-time students the option to complete all the steps to enroll in LSC-Tomball in one to three days.
Divided into three tracks (blue, red and fast), each enrollment session is tailored to the specific needs of incoming students - and, no pre-registration is required.
Blue track (a two-day program for students who prefer morning sessions) will be held Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17. Tuesday, check-in is at 8:30 a.m. in room C-100 followed by admissions, pre-advising and testing until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, check-in is at 8:30 a.m. followed by orientation and registration until 11:30 a.m.
Red track (a three-day program for students who prefer afternoon sessions or more time to enroll) will be held Tuesday, July 16; Wednesday, July 17; and Thursday, July 18. Tuesday, check-in is at 4:00 p.m. in room C-100 followed by admissions and pre-advising until 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, check-in is at 12:30 p.m. followed by testing until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, check-in is at 4:00 p.m. followed by orientation and registration until 7:00 p.m.
Fast track (a one-day program) will be held Thursday, July 18. Check-in is 8:00 a.m. in room C-100 followed by admissions and pre-advising, testing, and orientation and registration until 7 p.m.
Regardless of track chosen, all students must bring their TAKS/SAT/ACT scores and proof of meningitis vaccination (vaccination verification can be pre-uploaded at www.lonestar.edu/meningitis prior to New Timberwolf Enrollment Days).
