The Lone Star College System Small Business Development Center Advisory Council is now seeking nominations from the community for the 27th Annual Small Business of the Year awards. This includes nominations of businesses within the LSC-Tomball service area.
Each year, members of the LSCS-SBDC Advisory Council recognize successful small businesses that make an impact in the local community and on the economy.
Small business owners will be selected on the basis of leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, business growth and success, and contribution to the community. Three finalists will be selected from each of the six college service areas and ultimately one winner from each college area, including the LSC-Tomball area, will be named.
All 18 finalists will be recognized at the 27th Annual Small Business of the Year awards banquet to be held in November. Nominations may be made by individuals, businesses and organizations.
