College Commencement on May 11 at 10 a.m.

May 11 will be a day of excitement for the many graduates that will walk across the stage and earn their associate degree and/or certificate from Lone Star College-Tomball. The college will hold its annual commencement ceremony at the Fellowship of the Woodlands, located at One Fellowship Drive in The Woodlands, beginning at 10 a.m. Approximately 700 students are eligible for graduation.

Increased earnings is a powerful reason to celebrate the completion of a degree. Associate degree graduates from LSC-Tomball will earn, on average, $1,308 more per month in income when compared to someone with only a high school diploma. A college degree also opens doors to more employment opportunities. By 2018, 63 percent of all jobs will require post-secondary education. Fourteen million new US jobs will be created in the next decade, and all will require an associate degree or more.
