Published on: March 01, 2013Current and potential students can register online for May mini-term and summer 2013 classes at Lone Star College-Kingwood and LSC-Atascocita Center starting March 6.
The May mini-term is from May 13-31. Summer I term begins June 3 and ends July 9 and Summer II term is from July 11 through Aug. 18. Registration for the mini-term and both summer terms will continue through the first day that the class meets. Courses are designed to fit a broad range of academic goals toward certificates, associate’s degrees or university transfer.
Credit classes offered for the mini-term include: anthropology, art appreciation, biology, dental hygiene, drama, English, fire science, geography, government, history, humanities, math, music, occupational therapy, philosophy, psychology, nursing, speech, and vocational nursing. Summer courses offered include: accounting, anthropology, art appreciation, biology, business computer applications, business management, ceramics, chemistry, communication, drawing, criminal justice, cosmetology, dental hygiene, drama, economics, education, EMT, English, ESOL, French, Gaming, geography, geology, German, government, history, interior design, introduction to computers, kinesiology, math, music, occupational therapy, philosophy, photography, physics, professional office, psychology, nursing, respiratory care, sign language, sociology, Spanish, speech, and vocational nursing.
