Maverick Connection: Three College Orientation Sessions Available in May

Learn more about Lone Star College-Montgomery during Maverick Connection, an orientation program held on Wednesday, May 9, or Wednesday, May 23, in the Health Science Center (Building B, Room 102).

Students can chose from a morning or afternoon session on either day. The morning sessions begin at 9 a.m., with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m. The afternoon session begins at 5 p.m., with check-in starting at 4:30 p.m.

Additionally, a separate Maverick Connection will be held at Lone Star College-Conroe Center on Thursday, May 3, at 3 p.m., in Room 105. (Check-in begins at 2:30 p.m.)

Maverick Connection is designed to ease the transition into college and to prepare new students for academic, social and personal success. Students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet other students, faculty, and staff, learn about the academic programs and campus resources available, and meet with an advisor.

Advance registration for Maverick Connection is required and can be done online at www.LoneStar.edu/Montgomery-Orientation. A confirmation will be sent via email within two business days.
