Kick off the holiday season with the free “String Power” concert set Monday, Dec. 6 at Lone Star College-CyFair.

The LSC-CyFair String Orchestra performs this holiday concert under the direction of Dr. Shih-Ting Huang. The evening will feature works from Biber, J.S. Bach, Mozart, Fourdrain, Reinecke, Paganini, Mahler, Groban and Billy Joel.

The free 7:30 p.m. concert will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress. A reception will follow.
