Truck on Over and Get Your Spot - Parking Garage at Lone Star College-Montgomery Ready for Fall Semester

Workers are putting the finishing touches on Lone Star College-Montgomery’s brand new, five-level parking garage, which will be open for students, faculty, and visitors on August 30, the first day of the fall semester. Students at Lone Star College-Montgomery are about to get the ‘green light’ to use the college’s brand new parking garage, making the search for a parking spot easier—1,000 times easier. Currently, the construction crew is putting the final touches on the five-level structure, but on Monday, August 30, the first day of classes for the fall semester, the parking garage will be open, offering close to 1,000 new spots for students, faculty and staff, and visitors to park.

The parking garage is free and will be open for both day and evening classes. For convenience, students will be able to access the parking garage from the campus’ west entrance known as West Campus Drive.

LSC-Montgomery’s campus police will be housed in the parking garage on the ground level near the two elevators. This will ensure the safety of all parking garage users, as well as provide campus police with adequate space to monitor the entire campus.

Part of the 2008 Lone Star College System bond referendum, the parking garage will be the first construction project completed on the LSC-Montgomery campus. The other projects, which include a General Academic Center, a Health Science Center, a Music Hall, and a brand new Lone Star College-Conroe Center campus, will be completed in December.
