• Air Traffic Control System Command System - select an airport from the map or from the drop-down list to obtain the latest delay information.
• Amtrak - established by Congress in 1971, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation provides rail passenger transportation in the United States. From the site, plan your trip across the U.S. by viewing Amtrak's schedules and routes and even making a reservation on an Amtrak train.
• Bureau of Transportation Statistics - maintains the WWW Virtual Transportation Library which offers links to airports, railways, transit systems, and related tourist information in the United States.
• The Centers for Disease Control - the CDC is an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services which promotes health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury, and disability. The CDC maintains CDC Traveler's Health which provides health related information for international travelers.
• CIA - the Central Intelligence Agency supports the President, the National Security Council and those who make and execute U.S. national security policy. It publishes the CIA World Factbook, which provides country maps and information.
• Citizen Information Center - with the Current Publications in the News, the General Services Administration offers full-text federal consumer information publications.
• United States Customs and Border Protection - includes import/export guidance and border inspection information.
• National Park Service - the National Park Service preserves our National Parks and Historic Landmarks. Visit a National Park or let the National Register of Historic Place's Travel Itineraries guide you through American history with their online travel guides. Visit Washington, DC's National Parks which are home to many of our country's treasured historic landmarks, including the Smithsonian Institution and the White House.
• U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs - whether traveling to the United States or from the United States, the Bureau of Consular Affairs provides the vital information you need to know about passports, visas, and travel security information. The Department of State also provides background information for most countries of the world.
• U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - discover our country's wildlife preserved by the National Wildlife Refuge System in 92 million acres of wildlife sanctuaries spread over 50 states and several overseas territories.
• Safety Abroad First Educational Travel Information (SAFETI) - Clearinghouse of information for students and faculty embarking on international travel and education. Site is hosted by University of Southern California's Center for Global Education and is sponsored by a consortium of educational institutions committed to health and safety while traveling abroad.
• USDA Forest Service - conserves and promotes the beauty of our National Forests.
