Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library is a joint venture of Lone Star College System (LSCS) and Harris County Public Library (HCPL). This partnership is making it possible for the library to deliver exceptional programming, materials and seamless services to its students, faculty, staff and community members. The library is equipped with over 150 public access computers and laptops, a good number of study rooms, seminar rooms, collaborative learning pods, conference/meeting rooms and a high speed internet connection. Wi-Fi connection is available on both floors of the library.
Patrons of the library have access to over 100 databases that consist of articles, primary documents, images, electronic books and other multimedia resources. An array of furniture for comfortable seating, as well as traditional study tables are found on both floors. The Library also offers a Teen Room, Children's Department, a Drive-Thru Book Drop, and an Internet Cafe.
Instructional classes for students, library programs, including book discussions, author visits, story times, crafts and other special activities are available in the library throughout the year. These classes and programs, in addition to the vast resources of both print and online materials accessible via a high speed internet connection, make the learning experience for students and all patrons of the library a unique one.
