TExES Study Guides
TExES study guides are available for check-out from the many libraries in the Lone Star/Harris County consortium.
To find these guides, search the catalog by typing the word “texes” in the Keyword Anywhere search box.
If you are looking for a particular subject test, such as math, add that subject name in the search box. (eg, texes math* - the asterisk at the end of the word indicates that you are looking for all possible endings to the word—in this case, it will search for the words “math” and “mathematics”)
You can also add grade level indications to further narrow your search. (eg, texes math* 4-8)
If you know the test number, use it in your search. (eg, texes 115)
If you are short on time:
The TExES study guides are in high demand, and you may have to wait some time for the guide you need to become available. Below are a few websites where you can get a copy of your own:
Texas Education Agency, Testing Service
Study guides can be downloaded for free , or you can order a printed version for $15, plus tax, shipping and handling.
Extensive study guides available for purchase. Books range in price from $20-$60.
