Primarily performs functions relating to general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or audit. Typical duties involve all aspects of financial areas including collecting and filing documentation, posting and processing financial records, to creating and filing financial reports and statements.
Under general supervision, performs standard, routine tasks using established guidelines. May work in AP/AR/Audit or general business office. Collects and files documentation, posts financial information, maintains computerized files and may assist with some report preparation.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience: High School diploma or GED required. One to Three years related work experience.
Under limited supervision performs diverse and non-routine tasks including reconciliation of accounts, posting and balancing, compiling and reporting on financial information. Resolves common problems with internal and external clients, customers and departments.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience: High School diploma required. Associate's degree preferred. Three to Five years work related experience.
Under supervision, assists in the day to day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and preparation of basic financial reports. May specialize in a specific financial area. May generate ad-hoc reports as requested by clients/customers. Reviews and verifies work of clerks or campuses.

Under general supervision, performs general accounting work that is varied and may be somewhat complex, but, generally is routine in nature. Reconciles complex accounts. Prepares reports and statements, analyzes financial reports and records, determines priorities and implementation of work processes. Resolves problems and issues with internal/external customers and departments. May directly supervise others.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's preferred. Three to Five years Accounting experience.
Under limited supervision performs general accounting work that is varied and that may be difficult in character. Prepares statements and reports of complex nature. Makes studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and the like. Reviews and verifies accuracy of others. Ensures accounting methods and procedures are followed. Sets practices and may set policy within department.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience: Bachelor's degree required. Three plus years experience in Accounting.
