The Lone Star College-Kingwood dental hygiene program offers small class sizes, individualized learning experiences with eight hundred hours of clinical practice. This program has a 100% pass rate on both national and clinical boards.
This program includes classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, as well as four in-depth clinical rotations that allow the student to work with a physical therapist or a physical therapist assistant full time in area hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers.
The curriculum is a balance of general education and technical courses in the classroom and laboratory, as well as supervised clinical experiences at local hospitals and outpatient clinics.
This program prepares students for work as emergency room technicians and/or ambulance attendants.
The two-year respiratory care program prepares graduates for the credentialing examinations from the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).
