Faculty and Staff
Linda Holcomb is chair of the business and professional office department. She joined LSC-Kingwood 17 years ago. Holcomb earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas.
Holcomb has many years of experience in the business industry and enjoys teaching business to students.

Staci Mizell, accounting and management professor, joined LSC-Kingwood in 2007. Mizell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Master of Business Administration degree from the same institution. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at LSC-North Harris.
"I see the relevance of accounting in the job market," said Mizell who is a 2013 cohort of the LSC Leadership Academy. "I try to make accounting not so scary for my students," Mizell added. "I love working at a place where everyone is committed to something positive. All of our faculty could be earning more money in other fields, but they devote themselves to helping students reach their academic goals."
Michael Griffith, professor of marketing/management, joined LSC-Kingwood in 2009. Griffith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Oklahoma Christian University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University. In addition, he is working toward a doctoral degree from Trident University International.
Griffith, who was awarded the "Faculty Member of the Year Award," is advisor to the Students in Free Enterprise/Enactus Team. "I've been teaching for more than 25 years, and it's rewarding to share the experience with students. Teaching business allows me to combine two things I love: business and teaching. LSC-Kingwood has the best interests of the student at heart and work hard to help them improve their lives."
