Individuals seeking to be elected in District Position 3, 4 or 9 may file as candidates by submitting the required paperwork on weekdays from Monday, July 21, 2014 through Monday, August 18, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note that the office is closed on Friday, July 25, Friday, August 1 and Friday, August 8. Filing forms and other useful information are available by clicking on the links on this page or in the Chancellor's office at 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381. Board members are elected to single member districts and are volunteers who serve without pay. They serve staggered terms so that there are always experienced members on the board.
Votes for write-in candidates will not be counted unless the individual has filed a declaration of write-in candidacy by August 18, 2014 at the Chancellor's office.
