A crisis is defined as a situation or event in which a person feels overwhelmed or has difficulty coping. Crisis counseling provides guidance, support and education. Contact your campus counselor as soon as possible if you or someone you know are in a crisis situation and experience any of the following:

- unable to stop crying
- thoughts of hurting yourself or others
- have not eaten in a few days (not due to illness)
- have not slept in a few days (not due to illness)
- unable to go to classes (not due to illness)
