First, I want to welcome you. ¡Bienvenidos! Bem-vindos! I’m sure you are going to have an exciting semester!
I have been teaching Distance Learning Spanish for almost 15 years. Portuguese online is going to the second semester this Fall 2012. If this is your first online class, please send me an e-mail and I’ll guide you through the steps.
One important key to online course is organization skills and dedication. You know how easy it is to be lost in cyberspace? One link leads to another, and when you see you are right there, dreaming you could be in the Museo del Prado! Anyway, stay focus! Organize your week, make a list of the assignments & due dates, and review constantly your language skills. Learning a foreign language is an on-going process: when you think you “know it all” you find a new challenge ahead of you. That’s what makes learning a language so exciting!
If you are reading this message chances are you have already registered and are ready to start! Please find the tab that corresponds to your course (Portuguese or Spanish), read the course documents posted for your class, and purchase your material as soon as possible.
All this information is posted on Angel, where your online course is designed. To access your e-course have your username & password ready, and log into your Lone Star account.
