Welcome!  I am a Professor of Mathematics here at Cy-Fair College. I teach a variety of courses.  I have completed a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics with a focus on Topology.  I have also earned my Ph.D. in Leadership for Higher Education.  

    My philosophy of education is summed up in a few words, “I believe all students can learn!”  I strive to unveil the “mystery” of mathematics.  Teaching mathematics produces extremely profitable experiences best described through the analogy of an actively maturing tree.  The instructor acts as the trunk from which the students (branches) extend.  The instructor contributes to the flow of the nutrients from the roots to the branches, while keeping a watchful eye monitoring the changing disposition of the branches.  With this assessment, the instructor continuously prepares supplements to encourage a healthy learning environment.
