ARTC 1302 – Digital Imaging I

Hi, my name is Carlos Aguilar. I am the instructor for this course and I will make sure that together we build a successful and worthwhile learning experience.

Course Objectives:

  1. Identify advantages and limitations of image editing software and explain different bit-mapped resolutions for image acquisitions and output devices.
     
  2. Use digital editing tools.
     
  3. Create, edit, and paint digital images.
     
  4. Edit, color-correct, and manipulate digital photographic images.
     
  5. Use basic half-tone theory in production of images.
     
  6. Manipulate, create, and edit digital images.
