Financial Aid
The Financial Aid department serves as the contact point for the College Director’s of Financial Aid and is the focal point of contact for all federal and state financial aid agencies. This office coordinates the development of financial aid policies and procedures as part of a team composed of the College Financial Aid Directors (Council), and collects data and submits reports to federal, state, and other agencies. It works with the Financial Aid Council to insure technical and computer support for financial aid services, and assists the Financial Aid Council in determining each college’s allocation for federal campus based programs and institutional financial aid. This office also coordinates communication and record keeping between The Foundation and Financial Aid Council, and assists with the development of financial aid systems and approaches that meet the needs of students and Lone Star College System Colleges.
