Creekfest

Lone Star College-University Park, Sam Houston State University-Northwest Houston Campus, and University of Houston-Northwest Campus will participate in the second annual CreekFest, a one-day festival of the arts and adventure race on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10am to 4pm.

The festival promotes the parks, museum, library, visual and performing arts, and other community resources in the Greater Cypress Creek Area. Numerous events such as hands-on art projects, artist demonstrations, concerts, and literacy activities will be occurring throughout the day. Outdoor activities, such as the Adventure Race and Family Dash promote healthy living and physical fitness for all ages. LSC-University Park will also participate in the Chalk Art competition. So, if you're artistic and want to represent LSC-University Park, then come out for a day of fun and support your campus! A portion of the proceeds raised at CreekFest will help fund scholarships for our students.
