Program Cost and Curriculum

Tuition & Fees

During the first semester, accepted students register for 14 credit hours, the second semester 13 credit hours, and the final semester for 4 credits hours. Please refer to this link for updated tuition and fees cost: http://www.lonestar.edu/tuition.htm

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Students are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid office and obtain a list of all the different scholarships and financial aid packets available. Financial aid information is available from the Financial Aid web page or by calling 281-351-3310

LSCS tuition & fees can be found at http://www.lonestar.edu/tuition.htm. In addition, students will pay for liability insurance for clinical course work each year, and for a criminal background check, immunization costs as needed and uniform costs where applicable. Students are responsible for the cost of their own transportation to and from clinic sites.

Program Schedule

1st Semester:

Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00am – 12:00pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00am – 10:30am [with an option to have Community Practice lab on Tuesdays (or) Thursdays 10:45am – 12:45pm]

2nd Semester:

Mondays & Wednesday 9:00am – 12:00pm [with an option to have IV Admixture lab on Mondays (or) Wednesdays from 12:15pm – 2:15pm]
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00am – 10:30am [with an option to have Institutional Practice lab on Tuesdays (or) Thursdays 10:45am – 12:45pm]

3rd Semester:

Students must complete 160 hours at their assigned clinical site in 8 weeks and attend class every Tuesday from 10:00am – 12:00pm during this same time period
