Workshop series – Painting
This workshop focuses on strategies for painting landscapes outdoors. Participants will learn the basic approach to oil painting including mixing colors, capturing the different qualities of lights and darks, composition, and the painting process itself.

Workshop Series - Ceramics Workshop: Face Jugs
Create your own ceramics face jug utilizing the stacked-slab and coil-building techniques. Learn to attach the facial features to make the expression you want. Face jugs, or jar heads are considered folk pottery and an American ceramics tradition. Students will need to bring $7 to the first day of class to pay for clay. Also bring these tools: ribbon tool, wire tool, rolling pin, rib, sponge, paint brush, fork and fettling knife. Complete your jug head with glaze firing in this one and one-half day workshop.1.00 CEUs
