LSC-North Harris Student Orientation
We are pleased you have chosen Lone Star College-North Harris to pursue your educational goals. To begin this process, we strongly encourage you to attend one of our New Student Orientation programs. These programs are designed to ease your transition into LSC-North Harris, and to prepare you for academic, social, and personal success.
During orientation, you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet other new students, current LSC-North Harris student leaders, and faculty and staff
- Learn your way around campus
- Find out about academic programs and campus resources at LSC-North Harris and its college system
- Meet with an academic advisor and register for the upcoming semester
- Have your individual questions answered

Who can attend?
Any new, first time in college student that has been admitted to Lone Star College who plans to attend classes. The orientation sessions are for both students and parents.
What does it cost?
This program is free! Sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis and space is limited.
Where does the program take place?
The New Student Orientation program will take place at LSC-North Harris, 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, Houston, TX 77073. Session dates, times and rooms are listed above. Free parking is available in designated student lots. Please do not park in lots designated for faculty or staff as you may be ticketed.
Check-in time is 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.
