Student Success Course

Goal:

Develop a student success course for at-risk students to increase student success in developmental program completion, transition to credit classes, completion of gatekeeper classes and fall-to-fall retention.

Current Status:

Beginning fall 2009, the Student Success Course and Intrusive Advising initiatives will merge. All student success course sections will have a designated advisor attached to the section. The students in the section will be officially on the advisor's caseload. Enrollment in this course will be mandatory for students placing into two or more developmental tracks beginning spring 2010.
Multiple sections of the student success course (EDUC 1300) are offered at every campus.
